The Missouri Tigers found themselves in another intense fight against Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon.

Leading 33-28, Mizzou managed to knock down a pass to the end zone from Vanderbilt QB Kyle Shurmur as time expired, sealing the victory.

Watching on the sideline was Mizzou QB Drew Lock, who turned 22 on Saturday. After the game, he was interviewed on the SEC Network and joked that he feels at least three years older after that tense finish:

“I just turned 22 today, but I feel at least 25 right now,” he laughed. “That was a little stressful. That’s what we play the game for, though — fun times. It’s good to have a little different outcome in a game like that. That was fun.”

Lock had a solid, if not exactly spectacular, game, throwing for 253 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also added 27 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

The best birthday present for Lock though is that this is win No. 6 for the Tigers, meaning they are now bowl-eligible. They’ll close the season at Tennessee and at home vs. Arkansas the next two weeks, with a chance to win their way to a much better bowl game.
