The Missouri Tigers are still waiting to see how the NCAA rules on their appeal of a one-year bowl ban for the football team based on the actions of a tutor several years ago.

Many in the media and around the country think the postseason ban was a terrible decision from the NCAA, especially since the Tigers self-reported the violations.

SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy appeared on “SEC Now” on Monday morning and ripped the NCAA, calling Mizzou’s bowl ban a joke:

The Tigers are hoping to hear back from the NCAA soon, and are obviously hoping for good news. It’s sure to be a hot-button issue for the Mizzou contingent at SEC Media Days on Monday.

Will they strike a defiant tone or deflect questions about the NCAA? We’ll find out soon.
