Missouri lands 2020 defensive tackle commit from Mississippi

Missouri landed its 15th commitment of the 2020 recruiting class as the Tigers reached into Mississippi to secure Montra Edwards, Jr.
Edwards is a 6-foot-3, 293 pound 3-star prospect from Lexington, Mississippi. In his announcement, Edwards explained how his grandmother is his inspiration, and he thanked every coach who recruited him. He has 23 offers to date.
Before Edwards’ announcement, the Tigers were ranked 13th in the SEC, and No. 37 in the country, according to the 247 Sports Composite. He is the fourth defensive lineman in this class for the Tigers, and second defensive tackle commitment.
Edwards is ranked the No. 19 player in Mississippi and the No. 61 defensive tackle in America in this class.
