Did you think that things couldn’t get any worse for Mizzou?

After Sunday’s arrest of star RB Damarea Crockett, the retirement of legendary coach Gary Pinkel and two disappointing seasons hanging over their heads, the Tigers seemingly hit rock bottom.

However, on Tuesday night, it was revealed that the school was working with the NCAA to investigate allegations of violations by a former athletic department tutor:

Mizzou AD Jim Sterk released a statement about the investigation on Tuesday night:

“While we recognize that there will be many questions regarding this situation, these investigations take time to ensure that we do it the right way. As always, our mission is to uphold the highest standard of academic performance and ensure the proper conduct with all of our programs.”

It sounds like the investigation is still in its early stages, and it’s unclear at this point if the football program is even involved, but this is a bad look for the maligned Tigers.
