Ty’Ron Hopper receives injury update ahead of Battle Line Rivalry, per report

Ty’Ron Hopper is doubtful for Friday’s Battle Line Rivalry matchup against Arkansas, according to a report from 247Sports.
Obviously, that’s a huge deal for both Missouri and Arkansas if Hopper is not able to suit up in Week 13. The Butkus Award finalist for the nation’s top linebacker missed last week’s game against Florida after injuring his ankle against Tennessee in Week 11.
Chad Bailey, another top Mizzou LB, was recently lost for the season, a loss Hopper was alleviating with this Tigers defense. Hopper is up to 72 tackles with 3 sacks on the year as a critical part of the Tigers defense.
Earlier this week Drinkwitz told reporters that Hopper is questionable to suit up against Arkansas.
Missouri star linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper appears to be doubtful for the No. 9 Tigers’ game vs. Arkansas tomorrow, sources tell @247sports. Will be a game-time decision, though.

Injuries are really starting to pile up for Missouri, especially on the defensive side. Star defensive back Ennis Rakestraw will miss Week 13 alongside Hopper and potentially Chuck Hicks, another Mizzou linebacker who is currently considered questionable.
On offense, Javon Foster and Brett Norfleet are considered questionable for Friday’s matchup.
The Razorbacks and Tigers will kick off at 4 p.m. on CBS from Fayetteville. If Missouri wins they will finish the regular season 10-2 with losses to Georgia and LSU and a real shot at a New Year’s 6 bowl.
