Commitment No. 8 is onboard for Missouri’s class of 2019 as Wayne, N.J. WR Charles Njoku has revealed he’s bringing his talents to CoMo. Njoku announced his decision by posting a Twitter video which cuts to a photo of him in the black and gold in the final seconds.

The 6-4, 198-pound Njoku is referred to as a wide receiver and a tight end depending on which recruiting site one reads. On the 247Sports Composite, he is the No. 68 wide receiver and No. 560 recruit overall nationally. He is also the No. 13 recruit out of the state of New Jersey.

Missouri is the only SEC school to offer Njoku so far, but he has received offers from Power 5 teams such as Boston College, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Purdue, Syracuse, Rutgers, Virginia and Wake Forest. The school to watch from now until and Signing Day could be Miami. Njoku is the younger brother of former Miami tight end David Njoku and UM wide receiver signee Evidence Njoku. The Hurricanes have not offered Charles Njoku at this time.

Missouri’s 2019 class now has Composite rankings of No. 14 in the SEC and No. 68 nationally.
