How I Claimed OG Promo Code SOUTH for NFL Trading
First, a confession: As a Michigander, I have not used prediction markets much at all. We have online sports betting apps, and prediction markets are mostly restricted here.
So, if you are also new to prediction markets, we’re going to learn this together. But, I cannot trade on sports here, so I had to improvise a bit.
Claiming the code, though, required zero improvisation. Here’s how I did it:
- I clicked through the link above (you can click here, too) from my iPhone and was taken to the App Store, where I downloaded the app.
- After opening the app, I clicked “Claim it” at the bottom of the screen (see below) and entered promo code SOUTH
- I created my account with Google, and after it checked my credentials I only had to enter my phone number and date of birth, and it found the rest of my information. Is that scary? Maybe. But was it quick and easy? Yes.
- I used Apple Pay to make a $25 deposit. You can also use your debit card, Venmo, PayPal, a bank account or Crypto.
- At the top of my app, it showed me the Trade $25, Get $25 welcome offer. While I couldn’t trade on sports within the app, thanks to my location, I did find a market to trade on. Now I will wait, and when my trade settles I will receive my bonus, and hopefully some real cash.

How to Trade on NFL Week 2 at OG Prediction Market
To actually trade on sports, or at least see the process, I had to access the desktop version of OG. But when I got there, I found it to be incredibly straightforward and, as a sportsbook user, familiar.
OG has an NFL hub, which allows you to not only see its NFL markets, but set your favorite team and explore some of its features.
I scrolled through the matchups, looking for the Packers vs. Jets, as I am completely out on the Packers and like a home team getting 3.5 points.
After clicking into the game, I was able to see the available markets, quickly eyeing the spread trade I wanted. While I wasn’t able to fully place the trade, clicking or tapping on the trade you want is identical to doing it on a sports betting app. You then add your stake, and submit.
