How Juneโs WV Online Casino Revenue is Tabulated
The West Virginia Lottery releases weekly revenue reports on iGaming through their website, so there are not clear-cut monthly totals, but you can get a good approximation of how things are.
Reports are slotted by the ending of each week, Hereโs how each looked in June.
- Week ending June 6: $9,545,280 (averages to $8,181,669 over 6 days)
- Week ending June 13: $8,376,222
- Week ending June 20: $9,251,360
- Week ending June 27: $9,244,629
- Final 3 Days of June (28-30): $3,624,014
- Total: $38,317,894
The week ending June 6 was done by average, so that is why we say the monthly total was approximately $38.3 million. The final three days of June were provided in total as it concluded the fiscal year, so was not reported including the first few days of July that completed that week.
With the 15% tax rate on the revenue, $5.7 million was generated for the state through Juneโs online casino play.
Fiscal Year Revenue Up Over 42%
The 2025/26 fiscal year saw a massive increase in online casino revenue for West Virginia.
The last 12 months recorded $439.2 million in total, an increase of 42.7% compared to FY 2024/25, which brought in $307.7 million.
Hereโs how each of the WV license holders performed by comparison in the two fiscal years.
A big reason for the change for Delaware North and Greenbrier is because FanDuel Casino made the change from Greenbrier to Mardi Gras in September, near the start of the fiscal year.
Mardi Gras jumped up in revenue by over 1,000% in the fiscal year, while Greenbrier actually saw year-over-year revenue declines.
Each fiscal year for the West Virginia Lottery, runs from July 1 to June 30.
Fiscal year 2026/27 began on July 1, 2026.
