The new D1Baseball Top 25 is out after Week 7, and a wild weekend of SEC baseball has led to some big changes in the new rankings.

The SEC’s representation in the top 10 has halved. There were 6 SEC teams in the top 10 a week ago, but that number is down to 3 in the new top 25. In a sweep-heavy weekend of conference play, numerous teams have new rankings.

Arkansas was previously ranked No. 4. However, the Razorbacks have plummeted to No. 17 after being swept by an unranked Florida team. The Gators check in at No. 21 in the new top 25.

Auburn also dropped 13 spots. Being swept by rival Alabama saw the Tigers fall from No. 5 to No. 18. Alabama checks in at No. 16 in the new rankings.

Texas swept rival Oklahoma, but it didn’t lead to dramatic movement. In fact, the Longhorns are still No. 2 behind UCLA. The Sooners slid down from No. 8 to No. 11.

Mississippi State and Georgia each moved up 2 spots into the top 5 after sweeps. MSU went 3-0 against rival Ole Miss, sending the Rebels out of the top 25 after previously being ranked No. 18. UGA handled South Carolina to rise from No. 7 to No. 5.

Tennessee dropped out of the top 25 after being swept by Vanderbilt.
