The SEC released its conference baseball schedule for the 2026 season on Tuesday, with defending national champion LSU opening conference play at Vanderbilt.
The opening weekend of SEC baseball play next season will be March 13-15, when the Tigers’ drive to win their 2nd straight national title and 3rd in 4 years will really get going. LSU won it all in 2023, then completed a dominant run to another national crown this past June, toppling Coastal Carolina in the Championship Series to cap it all off.
The rest of the SEC will be gunning for Jay Johnson’s club in 2026. Johnson took over in Baton Rouge in 2022 and has already won 2 national titles in his first 4 seasons there. He’ll be going for the hat trick next spring, and that drive will begin in Nashville in mid-March.
Here is the complete SEC conference schedule for 2026, which will run through the weekend of May 14-16:
After the long SEC gauntlet ends in May, the SEC Baseball Tournament will be staged May 19-24 in Hoover, Alabama.
