Johni Broome draws reaction on social media as Auburn star battles through injury

Johni Broome suffered an arm and a leg injury on the same play in the second half of Auburn’s Elite Eight victory against Michigan State. Although he returned to that game and even knocked down a 3-pointer, he clearly wasn’t 100% healthy.
That has carried over to Saturday night’s Final Four matchup against SEC rival Florida. The Auburn big man is still looking a bit hobbled, especially by the elbow injury.
But credit to Broome — as Auburn has built a 46-38 first-half lead, Broome has 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal.
Broome’s outing, during which he’s looked dominant at times and barely able to function at others, has drawn plenty of reaction on social media. Here’s a look at some of what is being said about Broome:
