The Texas Longhorns‘ comeback over the Ohio State Buckeyes is something Steve Sarkisian wanted to celebrate immediately upon its completion. He blew off ESPN’s Holly Rowe on the field postgame — something that likely stemmed from halftime interview issues — to get back in the locker room with his guys.

Arch Manning spoke to reporters on Monday after Texas’ thrilling victory. When asked if he had seen social media edits following the win, he informed them he had seen one of his head coach slapping Rowe.

“I’ve seen a few AI edits of stuff, but that’s about it,” Manning said before cracking a smile. “I saw an AI edit of [Sarkisian], too… of him slapping Holly Rowe.”

Manning may wish the video of Cam Coleman losing possession of what wound up being an interception was AI. If not that, it’d probably be the video of Ryan Wingo dropping a would-be touchdown. What definitely wasn’t AI, though, was Texas storming from 20 points down to win despite all of its miscues. For Manning, getting the victory, no matter his personal production, is likely all that mattered.

The Longhorns battle the UTSA Roadrunners in Week 3 before kicking off SEC play with an all-orange matchup at Tennessee in Week 4.
