Heading into the last game of the 2016 regular season, the Arkansas Razorbacks were 7-4 and preparing to take on the 3-8 Missouri Tigers.

However, after the Hogs built up a 21-3 lead, they watched as the Tigers came from behind to earn a victory, sending Arkansas to 7-5. Coach Bret Bielema’s squad then went on to lose the Belk Bowl against Virginia Tech.

This year, though, OL Frank Ragnow — the team’s captain — said he expects things to be different. He added that the Hogs want to prove that last season’s struggles aren’t who they are:

Playing in the SEC West is never easy, but Ragnow wants to make sure the Razorbacks don’t have a collapse at the end of this year.

Arkansas is the first SEC squad to kick off the 2017 season, as the Hogs host Florida A&M in Little Rock on Thursday night.

That game kicks off at 7 p.m. Central time and can be seen on the SEC Network.
