As the Arkansas Razorbacks head into St. Louis for the SEC Tournament, they’ll do so without a starting forward.
That’s because, on Monday afternoon, coach Mike Anderson announced that senior F Dustin Thomas had been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules.
Anderson released a statement to the media, as you can see in the tweet below:

Thomas has appeared in 26 games for the Hogs this season, starting 17 of them. He was averaging five points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Even though he’s not one of their star players, his absence hurts the Hogs’ depth at a time they can’t afford any setbacks.
What he did to get dismissed wasn’t announced, but the Razorbacks will be without him as postseason play gets underway this week.
