Arkansas loses wide receiver, former 4-star recruit, to transfer portal

Arkansas redshirt freshman wide receiver Shamar Nash has entered the transfer portal, he announced on his Twitter account on Friday.
Nash, who played for Memphis (Tenn.) Central before transferring to IMG Academy in Florida, was a 4-star recruit, ranked as the No. 46 wide receiver in the class of 2019 by 247Sports.com.
He redshirted in 2019 and did not see any action on the field before opting out prior to the 2020 campaign.
With 4 years of eligibility remaining including a “free” year of 2020 that will not count against him, Nash has an opportunity to make a mark elsewhere, but his time in Fayetteville has come to an end.
