A former 4-star recruit out of Valdosta (Georgia), Rhym was part of Auburn’s 2022 recruiting class under the former coaching staff. As a freshman, Rhym saw action in all 12 games of the 2022 season.
Playing primarily nickel, Rhym recorded 14 total tackles last season, logging 3 tackles in games against Mississippi State and Georgia. In the MSU game, he also recorded the first pass breakup of his college career.
Auburn is 10 practices into the spring period. The Tigers held their first practice under Freeze on Feb. 28. The annual A-Day spring game is set for April 8.
Hopefully, Rhym will be good to go for summer workouts and fall camp.
