Auburn has had a flurry of players enter the NCAA transfer portal since the end of the 2021 season.

On Monday night, another Tiger reportedly decided to explore his options on the transfer market.

Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, DL J.J. Pegues, who also played some tight end during his time at Auburn, decided to enter the portal:

Pegues appeared in 9 games for the Tigers in 2021, recording 16 tackles (2 for a loss). As a freshman tight end in 2020, Pegues recorded 7 catches for 57 yards. He also ran the ball for 14 yards on 5 carries.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Pegues was a 4-star member of the 2020 class. He was the No. 6 athlete and the No. 3 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
