Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 football recruit in the country for the class of 2025, is already a major focus nationally. The Belleville (Mich.) quarterback, who will announce his commitment on Jan. 6, has listed Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State as his finalists.
With just weeks to go before his decision, Underwood is in Tuscaloosa visiting the Crimson Tide, he announced on his X account on Saturday morning.

Alabama first offered the high school junior on May 12, with the program receiving a visit from him in June. That’s just 1 of the 41 programs that offered Underwood with the elite quarterback eventually having to pare his list down to 7 favorites.
Underwood is coming off a terrific season where he threw for 3,165 yards and 40 touchdowns versus just 2 interceptions, completing just under 67 percent of his passes. He wasn’t primarily used as a dual threat but did run for 160 yards and 7 touchdowns on 25 carries. Belleville could not win a 3rd straight championship, though, falling in the title game on Nov. 26.
