Missouri is set to take on Arkansas in Columbia on Saturday for its Senior Day, with a number of players playing their final home games.

Of course, there is the possibility of it being the final game for draft-eligible players as well, one of those players being junior Nick Bolton. On Wednesday, it was announced that the Frisco, Tex. native would participate in the Tigers’ Senior Day ceremony.

Does that mean that the decorated linebacker—a 1st-team All-SEC pick and a member of the Nagurski and Butkus Award watch lists—is set to declare for the NFL Draft? Not necessarily, says Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz.

“He hasn’t made a decision yet, but we also don’t want to have any regrets,” Drinkwitz said during his weekly radio show, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Dave Matter. “[I told him], ‘If you decide to come back we’ll do this again next year.'”

If Bolton does depart, it will leave a large hole in the Tigers’ defense, but the opportunity to prepare for an NFL career might be too much to pass up.
