Fans blast Week 6 AP Poll for dropping Kentucky out of top 25 despite win over USC

It’s tough to blame Kentucky fans for being upset with how this week’s AP Top 25 shook out.
The Wildcats are not ranked in this week’s poll, coming in at No. 26 just a few votes behind Pitt, who was unranked ahead of Week 5 and jumped Kentucky after beating Virginia Tech Friday evening. This is despite the fact that Kentucky was ranked No. 24 last week and beat South Carolina on the road in Week 5. Making matters more puzzling, Pitt just lost its starting quarterback for the season and needed a questionable field goal judgement to beat the Hokies in the first place.
