Florida defensive line commit Stive-Bentley Keumajou is joining the Gators’ 2026 recruiting class.

That’s according to report from Blake Alderman of Gators Online. Keumajou was set to be part of Florida‘s 2027 recruiting class, but will instead enroll at UF this fall and be part of the Gators’ 2026 roster.

Alderman adds that Keumajou is expected to be in Gainesville for the start of fall camp next week.

Keumajou originally committed to Florida back in May. He’s a 3-star prospect and was regarded as 247Sports’ No. 44 overall defensive lineman in the nation for the class of 2027 before his decision to re-classify.

While contributing in 2026 will be an uphill battle for Keumajou given that he missed spring ball and summer workouts, joining the Gators for 2026 will still be quality experience for the Coral Gables native.

This move does bring Florida’s 2027 class down to 25 total commits, including 4 remaining defensive linemen. It’s possible the Gators will still look to add a 5th defensive lineman from the high school ranks before the end of the 2027 recruiting cycle.

Florida will open the 2026 season against FAU on Sept. 5.
