Former Missouri linebacker Zach Lovett has decided where he will play football moving forward, announcing his decision to transfer to Iowa State Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot, 248 pound backup linebacker for the Tigers will have 3 remaining years of eligibility for the Cyclones.

Lovett hails from Melbourne, Florida out of Rockledge High School. He was a 3-star prospect and did not play much for the Tigers during his time in Columbia, playing just 3 games across his 2 seasons there.

He originally picked Missouri over Florida State and Georgia Tech. Now, he’ll be heading to the Big 12 for a fresh start.
