Tuesday nights just became a lot more important in the college football world, as the College Football Playoff rankings will be released each week.

If the bracket was set in stone, here would be the matchups:

The top 4 teams are Miami, Georgia, Utah and Indiana. They will receive a bye straight to the quarterfinals.

As for the first round, No. 5 Alabama would play host to Ohio State. Despite having two losses already, the Crimson Tide are the highest ranked two losses team. For the Buckeyes, the committee still has face in them despite the loss of Julian Sayin for the year. The winner of this game would be paired up with Indiana.

Meanwhile, the 6-11 matchup pairs Kentucky with Notre Dame. The Wildcats have been the talk of college football under first year coach Will Stein. The Fighting Irish could be facing a must-win on Saturday when they host No. 1 Miami. The winner of this game would take on Utah.

The 7-10 matchup would feature a rematch between Texas and Ole Miss. The Longhorns won that game 34-27 just two weeks ago. The winner would be paired against Georgia, a Bulldogs team the Rebels actually host this weekend.

The 8-9 game would feature UCLA hosting BYU, with the winner taking on Miami.
