Jalen Hurts led the Philadelphia Eagles to a touchdown drive on the opening drive of Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night.

Hurts completed 4 of 5 passes for 54 yards on the opening drive. Hurts found the end zone on a QB sneak to put the Eagles up 7-0.

Here’s the play:

Hurts connected with former Alabama WR De’Vonta Smith multiple times on the opening drive. Smith caught 3 passes for 41 yards.

The opening drive took just 4:51 off the clock. The Eagles were 1.5-point favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs in this game.

Hurts is in his 2nd NFL season after a very productive collegiate career at Alabama and Oklahoma. He missed a couple games due to injury this season, but he led the Eagles to a 14-1 record in starts in 2022.

Hurts also led Philly to blowout wins over the Giants and 49ers in the 1st 2 round of the playoffs this postseason. He scored 4 total touchdowns in those games.
