The Tennessee Titans selected former Mississippi State DL Jeffery Simmons in Round 1 of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he clearly loves his new Nashville home.
This week, as we continue to navigate our way through the COVID-19 pandemic, Simmons provided a Taco Tuesday lunch to the EMS team at Ascension Saint Thomas.
As you can see in the YouTube video below, he also dropped in virtually to say hello to the team:

“One of my sisters, she’s a nurse in Louisiana and that’s a thing I take pride in, especially during this time of need, during this coronavirus, COVID-19,” Simmons said in the video. “I appreciate you guys so much. Keep up the hard work. You guys are doing a tremendous job right now and like I said, keep it up.”
It’s great to see athletes and coaches providing moral and financial support to emergency workers during this time of need. Kudos to Jeffery!
