Josh Pate emphasizes importance of Kentucky versus Georgia in SEC East race

Josh Pate noted Tuesday that Kentucky’s window for winning the SEC East is closing fast.
The host of the Late Kick feels that the duo of Chris Rodriguez and Will Levis will need to get it done against Georgia on Nov. 19 and questions whether or not the fate of the SEC East will be on the line.
“This is the year they need to make it happen,” Pate said of the Wildcats. ” If there’s ever going to pull some magic off here … What will that game mean by the way? That Nov. 19th date against Georgia, what will it mean? Will the east be on the line that day, that’s kind of in the remains to be seen camp.”
There have certainly been rumblings that Mark Stoops is putting together something special in Lexington. Levis and Rodriguez are but one piece to the puzzle, the Wildcats also return all three starting linebackers from a solid defense last season and a top 15 recruiting class to boot.
It’s hard not to agree, though. The window is closing for the Wildcats. Will they seize the opportunity this year?
