The city of Oxford, Mississippi, partied well into the night Saturday, as the town’s Rebels turned away a former ally who had ventured back for an unwelcome return.

Ole Miss took down Lane Kiffin‘s LSU side by a score of 32-24, putting a temporary cap on a saga spanning back to last fall when the Tigers’ head coach opted to bolt for Baton Rouge deep into the 2025 campaign.

And thus, the Rebels expressed plenty of emotions following their hard-fought victory, and their social media team got involved in plenty of ways.

Ole Miss’ account quoted-posted over LSU’s final score graphic from the game, responding with a heavily edited video that showcased Kiffin, Kewan Lacy, Trinidad Chambliss and a host of others, all in an effort to make fun of the Bayou Bengals and their former head coach.

It’s tough to discern much visually from the video, although it features plenty of Kiffin’s worst moments while painting Chambliss and Lacy in much better light.

The caption of the clip simply states “just different,” a reference to the slogan that LSU has frequently utilized ever since Kiffin took over last year. The much-maligned head coach will have to bide his time if he wants to get the last laugh over his former program.
