Last week, the Tennessee Volunteers revealed they’d be donning their ‘Dark Mode‘ uniforms vs. the Kentucky Wildcats. Today, Will Stein‘s team countered to the best of its ability.

With the Vols in all-black, the Wildcats announced on Tuesday that they’d be in ‘ice-cold’ white against Tennessee. Kentucky showed off its white jersey, white pants and metallic helmet with photos in front of bags of ice and freezers.

The white-on-black uniform clash is a heavyweight matchup in the SEC Championship and College Football Playoff chase. Big Blue Nation has seen its team exceed all expectations in Stein’s first year in Lexington.

Per ESPN’s Football Power Index, Kentucky (7-1, 5-1 SEC) has a 52.1% chance to reach the CFP. Meanwhile, FPI gives Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC) has 21.1% odds of making the 12-team bracket.

Josh Heupel’s team, already holding a win vs. Alabama, could beat Texas A&M and Vanderbilt on the road and knock off LSU at Neyland Stadium in two weeks’ time to assure itself of a playoff bid if it defeats the Wildcats.

Kentucky could lose to one of Florida or Missouri and still be in great position for a CFP berth of its own with a triumph in Knoxville. The Vols and Wildcats kick off at 6:15 p.m. ET on Saturday (ESPN).
