No going home: Vanderbilt’s homecoming crowd leaves a lot to be desired

It has been a rough year for the Vanderbilt Commodores, who are currently 1-5 and coming off a loss to a bad UNLV squad.
This weekend, Mizzou is in town and it’s the Commodores’ homecoming game. Apparently alumni didn’t get the memo, though.
As you can see below, the crowd is sparse, and Mizzou reporter Dave Matter reports that the far side of the stadium is full of mostly Tiger supporters:

This, of course, has been the story all year (and in years past) for the Commodores, who can’t seem to draw well and are routinely outnumbered by opposing fans.
