BYU’s 28-24 upset saw the Cougars jump out to an early lead only to have the Notre Dame battle back and go up 24-21. BYU retook the lead late in the 4th quarter and held on for the thrilling victory, but some people don’t like the way the final seconds were officiated as Notre Dame tried for a game-winning score on 1st down from the 8 with 5 seconds to go.

Whether at the BYU 8-yard line or closer (with a defensive penalty), many feel like Marcus Freeman’s Irish deserved another shot at a game-winning touchdown.
