Chalk it up to wishful thinking.
For a brief amount of time Monday morning, Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher’s Wikipedia page stated he was the head coach at LSU, which is reportedly pursuing him to fill its coaching vacancy.

The page was quickly changed back to properly reflect his current status as the Seminoles’ coach. That’s probably what Fisher wants to see, given he has repeatedly refused to discuss other jobs and reiterated his commitment to Florida State.
LSU’s offensive coordinator from 2000-2006, Fisher is the most logical candidate to fill the position created by Les Miles’ firing on Sept. 25. The school was reportedly in talks with him during last year’s chaotic November skid that nearly cost Miles his job then.
