Over the last four years, Tennessee fans have been treated to the work of talented young artist Payton Marie Miller on campus landmark The Rock. All good things must come to an end, however, and Miller says she’s painted The Rock for the final time.

Miller’s tweet has many Vols fans wishing her well and saying they’ll miss seeing her work on game days.
The biochemistry major from Kingsport was profiled by Saturday Down South last year. She said that her paintings usually take 8 hours, but how long they stay The Rock can vary. Some last longer than others:
โIt depends on the picture. Depends on the reception from the football fans,โ she said. โThe Walking Horse stayed up the longest. Iโve painted over my own painting.
โA couple of things I was reluctant to paint over. But thatโs sort of the beauty. Itโs limited edition. Itโs always changing. Itโs so understood across campus I donโt think thereโs a lot of resentment.โ
The Orange and White game is set for 4 p.m. ET. Those not making it to UT campus can watch on the SEC Network.
