Report: Florida will play in 2020 Emerald Coast Classic; has opponent set

Last season, the Florida Gators played in several preseason classics, and even won the Charleston Classic, beating Saint Joseph’s, Miami and Xavier along the way.
This coming season, the Gators will play in the Emerald Coast Classic, which will consist of 2 games over 3 days from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29.
Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the Gators now have their first-round opponent. They will reportedly play Illinois, while Oregon and Iowa State meet up in the other semifinal:

The winners of those 2 games will meet in the title game, while the other 2 will meet in a consolation matchup.
The Emerald Coast Classic will take place in Niceville, Florida.
