Dominique Easley, a former first-round pick by the New England Patriots who now plays for the Los Angeles Rams, is involved in yet another incident involving his dog biting someone.

After numerous off-the-field incidents, including an alleged dog attack story, led to the former Gator’s unexpected release from New England, he appears to be back in hot water at his new gig.

According to Pro Football Talk, a lawsuit alleges that Wiley Brown, a former linebacker at Virginia Tech, was bitten by Easley’s pit bull while Easley was out of town. The legal details get a bit murkier from there, as Brown has been awarded $149,000 of Easley’s money despite the fact that he was there without Easley’s knowledge or permission. Brown was reportedly accompanying a friend who had an agreement with Easley to feed the dog while he was away.

Nevertheless, the court sided with Brown. The decision could be reversed on appeal, however.

“There are some legal issues about this for sure,” Brown’s lawyer, Kevin Smith, told the Palm Beach Post. “I believe the law supported our win, but I don’t know what the appellate courts will decide ultimately.”

Only time will tell who is ultimately responsible, but the dog has been put to down due to multiple biting incidents.
