Samu Taumanupepe, 2023 lineman from Texas, announces SEC commitment

Samu Taumanupepe picked up an offer from Texas A&M on Saturday. He did not wait long to commit to Jimbo Fisher’s program.
Taumanupepe verbally pledged to the Aggies on Monday evening, announcing the news via his Twitter account.

Out of Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas, Taumanupepe is a 6-3, 380-pound defensive lineman. Taumanupepe is rated 3-stars, the No. 109 recruit at his position, No. 176 prospect in the Lone Star State and No. 983 player overall in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports composite rankings.
Taumanupepe has picked up 15 scholarship offers during his recruitment. Before visiting Texas A&M this past weekend, Taumanupepe was also showing interest in Oregon and Miami.
