South Carolina adds commitment from 2027 OT out of Florida

South Carolina recently hosted an offensive tackle out of Florida on an official visit. Now, he’s a member of the Gamecocks’ 2027 recruiting class.
Clayton Lee is the newest South Carolina commitment. He verbally pledged to Shane Beamer‘s program on Wednesday.
Out of Callahan (Florida) West Nassau County, Lee is listed as measuring 6-7 and 315 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite rankings, Lee is rated 3-stars, the No. 86 offensive tackle, No. 103 player in the Sunshine State and No. 1,050 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.
Lee has received 18 scholarship offers during his recruitment. Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wake Forest are among the programs that showed interest.
Lee told Hayes Fawcett of Rivals that he committed to South Carolina over Virginia Tech, UCF and NC State.

Lee gives the Gamecocks 9 commitments for 2027. At this time, the class is No. 63 nationally on the Composite.
