South Carolina lands commitment from 4-star 2019 G AJ Lawson out of Canada

The South Carolina Gamecocks have turned into a powerful program under Frank Martin, making a Final Four run back in 2017.
That has drawn the eye of some elite recruits, and on Tuesday night, the Gamecocks landed a great player from north of the border.
As you can see below, 4-star combo guard AJ Lawson, an Ontario native, announced he was committing to South Carolina via Twitter:

According to the 247Sports rankings, Lawson is the No. 5 combo guard in the class of 2019 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the province of Ontario.
Lawson is the second player in South Carolina’s 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the SEC and No. 18 nationally, per 247Sports.
