Texas coach Steve Sarkisian dodged an interview with ABC’s Holly Rowe in the moments after his team completed a historic comeback win over No. 1 Ohio State on Saturday morning.

As Rowe began to ask Sarkisian a question with chaos unfolding around them, the Texas coach interrupted her and simply said “Texas Fight! Hook ‘Em!’ before walking away.

Here’s a clip of the awkward moment:

Sarkisian’s decision to bail on the postgame interview was presumably related to an incident that occurred at halftime. As Laura Rutledge was attempting to interview him, ABC dealt with technical issues and Sarkisian waited, per Rutledge, for a period of time before going to talk to his team in the locker room.

As a result, ABC didn’t get a full interview with Sarkisian at halftime or amid the postgame festivities. Rutledge apologized on behalf of the network and Sarkisian for the error.

This was arguably the biggest win of Sarkisian’s entire head coaching career. The Longhorns stormed back from a 23-3 hole in the 4th quarter, scoring 3 unanswered touchdowns in the final stanza to claim the win.

Texas will host UTSA in Week 3.
