The SEC has unveiled the official preseason All-SEC teams for 2026 as voted on by the league’s media in Tampa this past week.
Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss claimed the first-team quarterback spot, beating out Texas quarterback Arch Manning for that honor. Georgia‘s Gunner Stockton claimed third-team recognition.
Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy and Mizzou running back Ahmad Hardy claimed first-team spots as well. The receiver position is headlined by Texas’s Cam Coleman and Alabama‘s Ryan Coleman-Williams.
The first-team defense notably has 6 of the 11 spots reserved for players from Texas, Alabama and Georgia. Defensive lineman Collin Simmons, linebacker Rasheem Biles, defensive back KJ Bolden, defensive back Ellis Robinson IV, defensive back Bray Hubbard and defensive back Zabien Brown all made the cut.
