From the lows of the first half to the highs of the game-winning TD, Alabama fans were losing their minds Monday night.
Jermaine “FunnyMaine” Johnson has delivered hilarious Alabama recaps all season long, and his National Championship recap was just as funny.
Nick Saban made the gutsy call of starting Tua Tagovailoa in the second half, and it paid off. Tagovailoa marched Alabama up and down the field to even give the Tide a shot to win it on a last-second field goal. However, kicker Andy Pappanastos missed it.
After Georgia took the 23-20 lead in overtime and a 16-yard loss on the previous play, Tagovailoa became a legend hitting WR DeVonta Smith on the streak for the game-winning TD.
