WATCH: Nick Saban explains media rants on ESPN’s College GameDay

Alabama coach Nick Saban is almost as well-known for his media rants as he is for winning games, as the five-time national champion has gone on some impressive tirades.
His most-recent issue was with positive coverage in the press, calling it “rat poison” for his team.
On Saturday’s edition of College GameDay, Saban explained his rants in an interview with Tom Rinaldi, smiling as he says he has a message he wants to get across regardless of what questions are asked:

Both he and RB Damien Harris laughed off the “rat poison” remarks, with Harris saying he thinks Saban’s messages are more geared to his players than the media:

At the end, Saban admits he probably doesn’t have the patience he should have, but that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
Regardless of what happens in Saturday night’s game against Arkansas, the Alabama coach’s press conference will be a can’t-miss affair.
