WATCH: Vols’ TE signee Dominick Wood-Anderson shows off impressive footwork, Gamecock DB not impressed

Tennessee will look for this player to make an impact with the offense next season.
Dominick Wood-Anderson, the No. 1 JUCO TE in the nation, signed with the Volunteers during the early signing period, and he possesses a special skill set for the position. What makes his signing even more interesting is that Alabama was a heavy favorite to sign Wood-Anderson before he signed with the Vols.
There are obviously no guarantees with any player, but Wood-Anderson is a unique blend of size and speed for the position. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, the 4-star JUCO player could create a number of mismatches in the passing game.
He also showed off some impressive footwork in a recent video he shared to Twitter. Size is one thing, but combining size with quick feet is a special combination for any position.

South Carolina DB Keisean Nixon saw the video and took time to fire a shot at Wood-Anderson. It should be noted that Nixon and Wood-Anderson were teammates at Arizona Western College in 2016, and this is probably just a bit of friendly trash talk now that both will square off in the SEC East.
