Elevated from the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad on November 14 with ex-Oklahoma State Cowboy Chris Carson and Ohio State Buckeye Carlos Hyde inactive for Sunday’s clash with the divisional rival Los Angeles Rams, former Arkansas Razorback Alex Collins immediately made his presence felt.
Putting Seattle ahead, 7-3, in the first quarter, Collins found the end zone from 13 yards out, his first National Football League score since 2018, when he was a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

A product of South Plantation (Florida) High School, Collins starred for the Razorbacks from 2013-15, racking up 3,703 rushing yards, second-most in school history behind only Darren McFadden, and 36 touchdowns on the ground, the fourth-best mark all-time for the program.
Forgoing his senior season, he was initially selected by the Seahawks in the fifth-round of the 2016 Draft (No. 171) and ran for 125 yards and a score as a rookie.
Cut after just one season, he signed with John Harbaugh’s Ravens, registering 1,384 yards and 13 touchdowns over the 2017-18 seasons.
Arrested following a car crash on March 1, 2019, he was waived by Baltimore and did not appear on an NFL roster in 2019.
As for Collins’ collegiate program, Arkansas fell to the No. 6 Florida Gators, 63-35, on November 14 to drop to 3-4.
The Razorbacks are slated to welcome the LSU Tigers (2-3) to Fayetteville on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET.
