Bo Nix notches another 4th-quarter comeback as Broncos win SNF thriller

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has established a flair for the dramatic in his brief NFL career. The former Auburn Tiger and Oregon Duck oversaw some impressive victories in 2025, including a 19-point fourth-quarter comeback win over the New York Giants. On Sunday Night Football in Week 4, he added to his legacy.
Nix, trailing 16-0 at halftime and by a field goal multiple times in the fourth quarter, scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown with 47 seconds remaining in regulation to carry his Broncos past the Los Angeles Rams 30-26. The fourth quarter comeback gives Nix 11 such wins (including playoffs), the third-most in NFL history through three seasons (since 1950).
Nix completed just 50% of his passes (17/34) for 186 yards against Los Angeles. His defense’s massive pick-six of Matthew Stafford late in the fourth quarter and a controversial pass interference on his game-winning drive certainly aided his cause. Regardless, his track record demonstrates he has the stones to lead his team to victory in the biggest moments.
Denver (2-1) travels to face the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers (3-0) in Week 4. Kickoff between the Broncos and 49ers is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 4 (FOX).
