Former Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer has been making the media rounds this week, and one of his last stops was on the “Pardon My Take” podcast.

On this week’s show, Palmer was asked about former Ole Miss DL Robert Nkemdiche, who the Cardinals took in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

As you can hear on the episode, Palmer describes Nkemdiche’s eccentric personality, complete with his love of cats and his hoarding nature:

“Robert Nkemdiche, who was from Ole Miss, was the first-round pick of the Cardinals,” Palmer said. “He plays the saxophone, he wears the same clothes every single day of the week, but he has like 19 cats, but he’s the coolest guy. He’s a cat guy. He’s a cool guy. He’s a hoarder, but he’s a phenomenal guy, but he’s as out there as you’ll find.”

Nkemdiche recorded his first NFL sack in a Week 1 loss and figures to play a larger role on the Cardinals’ defensive line than he has his first two years in the league.
