Class of 2024 interior offensive lineman Joseph Cryer announced Sunday evening that he has decided to decommit from Ole Miss. He originally gave the rebels a verbal pledge on June 2, 2023.

Cryer originally hails from Natchitoches Central HS in Louisiana and was recently offered by LSU on July 26. The Tigers are likely to be a major player for his pledge following his decommitment, but nothing has been made official other than his announcement Sunday.

Cryer is rated as the No. 966 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 69 IOL and No. No. 33 player out of Louisiana.

He stands at 6-4, 290 pounds and holds offers from fellow SEC programs such as LSU, Mississippi State and Missouri.

Ole Miss currently still holds 4 commitments from offensive linemen in the 2024 cycle, including 4-star IOL Kamron Beavers and high 3-star William Echoles.
