Moments after Sam Williams announced he plans to return to the Ole Miss defense in 2021, another defender announced similar news.
Tariqious Tisdale announced on social media that he would return to the Rebels, and added, “2021 finna be a movie letโs work we not done yet!”
Tisdale has started seven games and played in 30 for Ole Miss over the past three seasons. His 2020 season was shortened because of injury, but he still managed to make 19 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in six games. He didn’t play in the Outback Bowl win over Indiana. He didn’t register a sack, and had just 1.5 tackles for a loss.
In 2019, he appeared in all 12 games on the defensive line, and finished the season with 28 total tackles, including 3.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks.
