Kansas City agrees to terms with draft pick Breeland Speaks
There will be no holdout forthcoming from Breeland Speaks.
A recent second-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs, he was the No. 46 overall selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, Speaks has officially signed his first NFL contract this week. The NFL franchise was eager to share the news on Thursday.
Speaks was the first of four Ole Miss players selected in the 2018 NFL Draft as Marquis Haynes, Jordan Wilkins, and Rod Taylor were also drafted by NFL clubs.
The former Ole Miss lineman racked up 121 tackles, nine sacks, and 15 tackles-for-loss during his three-year career as a Rebel.
We have signed draft selection Breeland Speaks (LB – Mississippi).
