Where will Lane Kiffin coach next season? That’s one of the biggest questions in the coaching carousel at the moment and the FAU coach was recently asked about his plans for next season.

His response didn’t exactly close the door on the speculation that he may be leaving FAU.

During a recent appearance on “The Andy Slater Show,” Kiffin was asked a simple question — will he be FAU’s coach next season? Kiffin responded, “I hope they still want me here.”

Keep in mind FAU is 9-3 this season and playing for the Conference USA Championship on Saturday and Kiffin has a contract with eight more years at FAU. FAU has committed to Kiffin but he made no attempt to commit to the FAU program with that comment.

As expected, this comment from Kiffin has Ole Miss and Arkansas fans in a frenzy.
