It’s crazy to think about right now, but spring football starts at the end of next month.

Yes, soon, teams will begin their earnest preparations for the 2019 season, and Ole Miss will get spring drills started on Feb. 28.

Soon after that, the annual Grove Bowl scrimmage will be held. In a release from the school on Wednesday, it was announced that the spring game would be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6:

Ole Miss will host 2019 Grove Bowl Weekend April 5-7, highlighted by the Rebel football team’s annual intrasquad scrimmage and the baseball squad’s series with Florida.

The Grove Bowl serves as the finale of the Rebels’ spring drills, which will begin on February 28. The game is set for Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, and admission will be free.

The Rebels will be replacing a ton of talent, including QB Jordan Ta’amu, on offense, so it’ll be an important spring for Matt Luke and his coaching staff.

Fans will want to get an early look at this squad, so mark your calendars now!
